~ Not worth the price

i'm growing tired of photographers doing nudes just for the sake of doing nudes. it seems that nudes sell no matter the quality of the images, and doing them is selling out by taking the easy route to making money in photography. i would be much more impressed with a photographer who becomes successful by creating beautiful images despite the subject matter not because of it.
that said, i appreciate the female form and the black and white images in this book meet that appreciation to an extent. but they often have a flat snaphot like quality to them, with high key lighting-the images certainly aren't high art. some of them are even blurry or not aesthetically pleasing to the point that if i was the editor, i would have excluded them.
in many of the images where a television is in the background, the photographer has put a still frame of a man's face (maybe his own) there. i find this very contrived and believe the images would be better without this unnatural busy-ness in the background.

True Trash

In a word, "sophomoric."
Products like this make me never want to order online again.
As a professional fine art photographer who appreciates form, lighting, composition and subject matter, I believe the positive reviews for this book may have been posted by the author or by one of the author's friends; perhaps one of the "models."
If you enjoy looking at pictures made with a point-and-shoot camera of hairy, dirty women exposing their crotches then this book is certainly for you. Better yet, surf the naughty Internet sites...I'm sure the photography is better (and probably free).
I threw my copy away within 5 minutes. But kudos to the author, through book reviews and a halfway decent cover shot, he got me to open my wallet. Silly me. I judged a book by it's cover...Arrgh!

Dull and boring

Endless collection of the same photograph, same pose, and same lighting showing little imagination. On the positive side, probably makes a good reference book if you want to take your own photographs. The black and white format adds nothing and they should have been shot in color. Add 1.5 stars if you enjoy pictures of nude women and don't really care about the photography
