About the Author
Susan R. Komives is associate professor and director of the College Student Personnel Graduate Program at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Nance Lucas is the associate dean and associate professor at New Century College at George Mason University and former special assistant to the provost and director of the Academy of Leadership at the University of Maryland.
Timothy R. McMahon is a faculty consultant in the Teaching Effectiveness Program at the University of Oregon.

Food for thought still fills the appetite

Leadership can sometimes drag on and be a boring subject to talk about. In this book, Komives puts simple ideas and big text together to make reading though the textbook quite easy. While some of the idea's are off-base and definitely need some work (I am looking at you MBTI 2.0), there are also many great theories that can be expaned upon for great discussion. Normal classes consisted of reading the book as homework and discussing how we could apply these theories in everyday life.
I am not saying this is the solution for future leaders, but food for thought still filled the appetite.

Read this if you have trouble obtaining the code for the book

I have not read the book, yet, so not reviewing that. But, I followed the instructions to get the code:
"E-book customers must prove they have purchased the book to obtain their StrengthsFinder access code from Wiley Customer Service"
Wiley online chat support representatives would not provide the code. I had to call Wiley Customer Service (good luck finding the phone number). They provided the code and told me that they would tell their online chat reps to provide the code in the future. Here's the Wiley Customer Service phone number just in case: (877) 762-2974.

E- books needs reviewing

I am aware of the copy wright issues book producers and sellers are facing pertaining to their books. I am all for securing your interest, however, this book is okay because it is just to read, but the other book I purchased is a work book, so it need to be printable. If these E books are made printable for students, once they enter their student ID or something along that line, it will entice us to purchase them, but as we speak, students are distancing themselves from E books. Other than that I love shopping on Amazon.com
